Since late 2020, PTI Electrical Services has been proudly working with Cambrian College in Sudbury, Ontario, to help shape the future of Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) training. As the mining and industrial sectors rapidly shift toward electrification, there’s a growing demand for qualified technicians who understand EV systems inside and out — and we’re helping lead that transformation.

PTI contributed to the creation and technical content of Cambrian’s BEV training course, focusing on real-world systems used in underground and industrial applications.

Our experienced electricians and BEV support team have delivered hands-on insights in the classroom — bridging the gap between textbook learning and field-tested knowledge.

We’ve helped develop practical test scenarios, diagnostic simulations, and troubleshooting challenges that mirror the work technicians will face on job sites.

PTI continues to support Cambrian with updated content, real-time feedback from the field, and collaboration on future BEV-related initiatives.
